Jan 18,  · Eric Clapton Slowhand and Ocean Blvd - MFSL vs. SACD. Discussion in 'Music Corner' started Unfortunately pakhaisuversrivicnesssogosanddresjoe.coinfo won't ship to Canada so I can't take advantage of the deal. Joseph, Jan 18, # So the MFSL good sounding Clapton albums are Slowhand and Ocean Boulevard. For the others I prefer the RSO/Polygrams.

After getting out of his heroin addiction in , Clapton decided it was time to get back in business. With a large number of songs he wanted to cover, as well as a few originals, he created Ocean Boulevard, which became one of the most commercially successful records of his career. Overall, this seems like a slight improvement over his debut.

Ocean Boulevard is Eric Clapton's second studio solo album, arriving after his side project of Derek and the Dominos and a long struggle with heroin addiction. Although there are some new reggae influences, the album doesn't sound all that different from the rock, pop, blues, country, and R&B amalgam of Eric pakhaisuversrivicnesssogosanddresjoe.coinfor, Ocean Boulevard is a tighter, more focused outing that.

Ocean Boulevard is the second studio album by Eric Clapton that marked his return to recording after recovering from a three-year addiction to heroin. The album was released in late July for RSO Records, shortly after the record company released the hit single "I Shot the Sheriff" in early July the same year. The album topped various international charts and sold more than two million copies.
